In the University of Gijón can be 3.000 students. It's located outside of Gijón. The Labour University of Gijón is the most famous University of Asturias. It was built between the years 1946 and 1956. Here was filmed "Brain Drain", a famous Spanish film.
REVILLAGIGEDO PALACE
It is an 18th century Baroque palace and was built on the remains of a medieval tower by order of the Marquis of San Esteban del Mar del Natahoyo. It is currently one of the most symbolic buildings of the city of Gijón. Inside, is the International Art Centre.
WHAT YOU MUST DO IN ASTURIAS
You must visit Gijón and have an ice-cream while you walk along San Lorenzo Beach.
You must bike on Gijon, because it has lots of bike-lines (you have to wear a helmet, it’s compulsory).
And what about watching a football match?
You should go to the Molinón Stadium and support Real Sporting de Gijón.
